Little Girl’s Capsule Wardrobe: Pink, Blue, & Gray

I decided to create a capsule wardrobe for my children. I was getting tired of their clothes and I wanted to make it easier for me and for them to pick out their clothes. I asked my three year old what colors she liked wearing the most and she said pink and blue. So I went from there.

We live in Alaska so it’s a little bit more difficult to make a year round capsule wardrobe. We need our winter clothes because it’s so cold 🥶 and we need our summer clothes because, well, it’s summer! 🤪 Warmer weather calls for tanks and shorts.

Some clothes we had and others I purchased. I usually look secondhand first at Value Village or Once Upon a Child. Then I’ll check Target, Old Navy, or H&M.

Brands I tend to look for secondhand are GAP, Tea, Hannah Anderson, Mini Boden, or Matilda Jane.

Altogether I think her closet came to around 25-30 pieces. Some may have been in the dirty basket that I missed and quite frankly, I didn’t want to dig through.

Here is her little girl’s pink, blue, and gray capsule wardrobe. 😁

4 sweaters

3 leggings (blue, pink, jean jegging)

1 long sleeve

7 t-shirts

1 sweat suit

7 dresses

1 pair of shoes

2 pairs of pajamas
