February Cottage Garden: Planning & Planting Foxglove and Delphinium Seedlings
The weather has been super interesting lately. It was below zero for weeks. Now, it’s been above freezing temperatures and the snow is melting. It’s way too early for a false spring! But I’m so hopeful it’s for real. 😂
November Cottage Garden (2023)
The snow has been n-a-s-t-y. It’s been wet and heavy and takes a million years to plow. My dad broke his snow blower and my husband called it ‘old man heart attack snow’.
October Cottage Garden Tour (2023)
Well it has officially reached freezing temperatures and the frost is here. The ground is a frozen brick. I am a frozen brick. We will be cold until April. There’s nothing to do in the cottage garden at this point.
September Garden Tour (2023)
The leaves have finally fallen! We had a late start to summer. So naturally we had a late start to fall. Last year the snow had already fallen and I didn’t have a chance to rake up all my leaves which killed a patch of our grass. Not cool winter.

Beginner Cut Flower Garden Plans
This year I have decided to forgo a vegetable garden and try a cut flower garden. Over the last several years I have had barely any luck growing vegetables. 😩 I live in a zone 4 with an extremely short growing season.
